of the "Magnify Music Ministry"

We presently have a three ensembles that lead the church in worship on a regular basis. These groups stem from the choir and one must be very active in choir and go through an audition process with the Minister of Music to participate in a special ensemble group of any kind. All ensembles sing only from memorization of lyric and notes.

The goal of each soloist and ensemble is to exalt the name of Jesus at every opportunity. We do want to EXALT our Savior forevermore, and we will.

Soloists

Every soloist at East Taylorsville Baptist Church is a member of the Adult Choir and is given the opportunity to lead worship in regular services upon request by the Minister of Music. They are asked to do a sound check prior to the service at which they sing and to keep their song selections fresh by constantly seeking new material.

"EXALT"

This ensemble consists of male and female vocalists who are active in the choir and gives us the ability to provide a different musical style for a diverse congregation. This group sings a contemporary style of music, meets one evening per month for rehearsals and sings at least one Sunday every month.

The name EXALT is derived from Psalm 92:8, which reads, "But You, O LORD, are exalted forever." We do want to EXALT our Savior; and we will.

"Elevate"

Our ladies ensemble, "Elevate", is created solely of nine ladies who are a part of our Adult Choir ministry. These ladies sing every genre of Christian music available. They sing for Sunday services and meet once per month for rehearsals. We are presently in the building stages of this ministry.
