The Global Focus Strategy is the heartbeat of our church. Christ called us to reach the world for him when He ascended to heaven. He said, “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Our command and our strategy to do this is Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Our Global Focus Strategy involves ministry to four regions:
Alexander County, North Carolina, North America, and Internationally. We have developed teams for each region and are always looking for more people to help. We are building partnerships with missionaries in these areas and doing ministry to help reach our world for Christ. This ministry has not officially been launched but we are already building a solid foundation.

• Paul and Pam Sheaffer, IMB missionaries iin Uruguay
• We also support the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention helping to support thousands of missionaries around the world.
• We support independent missionaries and mission organizations through our budget.
• Our outreach to Alexander County comes through ministry opportunities in our FAITH Outreach, Baptist Men and Baptist Women, Mission Blitz Days, Food Pantry and other ways.
• We are looking for where God is working throughout these four regions and wanting to join Him in the work.
