Rodney Boutwell is our Minister of Music and Senior Adults:

 
God called me at age 26 to sing His song and lead others in worship. My salvation was made sure in 1970 at a Lay witness revival. My education was at Gardner Webb University and Furman University. My experience has been leading churches in praise, guiding youth in activities, and ministering seniors in programs. Today I direct the Gospel Choir, Double Quartet, “4 the Lord” Ensemble, and coordinate the two preschool choirs, the children’s choir, and Youth Ensemble. Our music is blended with praise songs and southern gospel. I also lead our seniors in our monthly luncheons, singing in rest homes, day trips and fall conferences. My passion is leading our people in worship and praise. It has been a sweet journey through the years.

 
Rodney and his wife Sylvia have been married 45 years, and have two children, Donna and John, and have six grandchildren.
